- A fire-damaged Grey Lynn villa in Auckland was passed in at auction last night, but sold immediately after to a local family with young children.
Listing agent Steve Glucina of LJ Hooker Ponsonby says the sale price was close to $1.6 million, which is essentially the value of the land.
The agent says he sold a house in Grey Lynn to the same family three years ago, and now they are “climbing the ladder to the next one”.
