Sydney dominates the list of Australia’s most expensive suburbs, particularly in the eastern suburbs, where the majority of the top ten wealthiest streets are located. Victoria is not far behind, with Toorak in Melbourne boasting Linlithgow Road and Clendon Road among the top ten.
On the other end of the spectrum, the least expensive street in Australia is Wollongough Street in regional NSW, with a median house price of $32,300, a five-hour drive from central Sydney.
Factors contributing to the high property prices on Australia’s most expensive streets include scarcity, exclusivity, and the demand for luxurious living in prime locations.
