The Government will build its first KiwiBuild homes in Canterbury under an agreement with residential developer Mike Greer announced on Wednesday.
Housing Minister Phil Twyford said the agreement would see more than 100 KiwiBuild homes built in Christchurch and West Auckland.
Twyford said the agreement for 104 homes included the cheapest KiwiBuild announced so far – 11 two-bedroom standalone homes in Kaiapoi for $360,000.
