PHOTO: Sotheby’s Realty – The 1012 square metre site has a reateable value of $980,000, but real estate agent Gerard Bligh expects it to sell for seven figures.

You won’t be able to play a game on this Queenstown tennis court, but it is still expected to sell for more than $1 million.

The 1012 square metre site of cracked and broken concrete has commanding views over Lake Wakatipu from Frankton, but is mostly used as a storage area for neighbours’ boats.

Invercargill-based owner Trevor McLeay said he had owned the section for 35 years and enjoyed a few rounds of tennis with friends there.
