REA Group has today announced the 2022 Annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs) finalists, with winners set to be announced at a national event on Thursday 27 April.
First established in 2016, the AREAs celebrate the success of property industry professionals and their outstanding performance in supporting Australians through every aspect of their property journey.
The awards include submission-based categories as well as top campaign and agent awards, powered by realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au data. This year’s awards consist of more than 40 categories, with a focus on innovation, service, marketing, wellbeing and community.
An independent judging panel including expert representatives from industry bodies, media and community organisations will select the submission-based award winners.
Each finalist will receive personalised marketing assets, exposure across REA’s website and social channels, and recognition at the national awards night.
Award winners will secure an even larger suite of prizes.
REA Group Chief Customer Officer Kul Singh said he was delighted to be recognising REA’s standout
customers at the seventh annual AREAs.
“We’ve had yet another year of record submissions, with the number of submissions up more than 60 per cent compared to last year,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating another group of incredible property professionals who go above and beyond for their customers.
“We know 2022 was another significant year for the industry.
“I’m particularly looking forward to seeing who takes out the Contribution to Community award and our newest awards, the Rising Star Award and the Support Superstar of the Year.
“I would like to thank everyone who made a submission and I wish all our finalists the best of luck!”
Last year’s winner of the Residential Agency of the Year, and Chief Executive Officer and Principal of DiJones Real Estate, Dean Mackie, said the award was a testament to the hard work and dedication from his team.
“Winning any award is a huge achievement for our team and we were delighted to be recognised as the Residential Agency of the Year for the second year running at last year’s AREAs,” he said.
“I was really proud of our team’s outstanding resilience and success in what was one of the busiest years for Di Jones.
“We recognise a lot of value in winning an AREA award, not just in terms of the direct benefits to the business, but it also sends a great message to our team – it’s a true reflection of their outstanding work.”
