At least 40 jobs have been axed after West Auckland-based construction company Accent On Group was placed into receivership.
The company broke the news to its employees on Monday.
Accent On Group operated a suite of companies mainly under two businesses; scaffolding and construction.
The scaffolding business continues to trade and its three employees remain unaffected by the receivership.
