$40m for an apartment? Buyer nabs entire level of tower

Veteran venture capitalist Bob Blann has laid claim to one of Australia’s highest apartment sales paying more than $40 million for a whole-floor apartment in Crown’s One Barangaroo tower.

The off-the-plan purchase comes just two months after the casino company launched the marketing campaign to sell its luxury highrise residences, and coincided with Crown’s announcement that it had sold the largest apartment to the company’s largest shareholder and former chairman James Packer for $60 million.
