Following the successful launch of Healthy Home inspections last year, AA Members and AA Home customers now have the option to schedule pre-sale and purchase property inspections, rental property inspections, as well as asbestos and methamphetamine testing through a partnership with Betta Group.
Nalini Dutt, the National Manager of AA Home, emphasizes the importance of thorough property inspections, stating, “Buying or selling a home is often the most significant financial decision many of us will ever make, so it’s crucial to have a clear understanding of what you’re buying to avoid any unexpected and potentially expensive surprises down the road.”

Given AA Home’s established reputation for connecting New Zealanders with trusted tradespeople, Nalini believes that expanding into property inspections is a natural progression. Nalini also highlights the credentials of Betta Group inspectors, who are members of the New Zealand Institute of Building Inspectors (NZIBI) and possess full industry qualifications. These inspectors provide easily understandable and concise reports that are accepted by banks and lending institutions. Furthermore, they carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance, providing an additional layer of assurance to clients.
