A real estate agent has been punished after describing her own home to buyers as in “excellent condition” despite a report that identified significant weathertightness issues.

In February, Robyn Bond was fined $750 for misconduct by the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal.

Bond, who didn’t attend the hearing, plead guilty in a memorandum filed to the tribunal in November.

The decision by the tribunal marked another legal blow against Bond. She and her employer, Safari Real Estate, had already been ordered to pay $167,842 in 2018 by the Weathertight Homes Tribunal.
