Their dwelling, located at 46B Eastbourne Rd, Remuera, described as a “stunning northern slopes residence offering unparalleled luxury and comfort,” was constructed in the 1990s.

This two-storey house, currently valued at $5.9 million, features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, spacious living areas, a separate media room, a swimming pool, and a fifth share of a floodlit tennis court.

The living spaces wrap around the pool on two sides, extending onto the pool deck. A wood-burning fireplace with a stone surround and timber mantel graces the main living area, complemented by recessed timber shelving showcasing family photos and select trophies from Barrett’s esteemed career.

The residence opens out to the north, featuring expansive decks. The main deck, adjoining the kitchen, is enclosed with glass balustrades, providing shelter through operable louvres.

The kitchen, fittingly, boasts sleek timber veneer cabinetry and a scullery.

The listing highlights the well-designed layout, offering separation catering to various age groups and life stages, with bedroom-bathroom living areas downstairs, including a separate media room, and additional bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.
