Taranaki, Otago, Southland and Hawke’s Bay set record all-time average asking prices last month.
In an emailed statement, realestate.co.nz spokeswoman Vanessa Taylor said figures showed the average asking price in Taranaki was $475,424 in July, up 11.6 per cent on June 2019.
The result was coupled with a fall in new listings of 23 per cent, to 151, in comparison with July 2018. Taylor said it was the second month in a row where listings had been poor.
