THIS is the fourth “ugly duckling” Lisa and Caleb Sos have rescued and watched mature into a graceful swan.

It also happens to be the Brisbane couple’s favourite.

Perhaps because it has been their project for the past two-and-half years.

Perhaps because of the challenges that come with living in a home during a renovation with two children under the age of 10.

“It was a bit challenging — the four of us living downstairs for six months — but it was fun, it was an adventure,” Mrs Sos said.
