New Zealand anticipates the arrival of a new fast-food establishment in April, promising patrons a delightful chicken experience.

Popeyes, a renowned American fried chicken chain, is slated to debut its presence in Auckland’s Takanini area, with plans for 10 additional locations to follow suit by the year’s end. This expansion initiative is poised to generate over 150 employment opportunities and inject approximately $25 million in investment over the forthcoming years.

The Takanini branch is poised to unveil a lavishly appointed interior spread across 300 square meters. Sharn Phillips, Popeyes’ New Zealand Head of Marketing, expressed excitement, stating, “We are delighted to announce the arrival of the Chicken Sandwich that captivated the internet, now available for Kiwis to savor themselves.”

Phillips added, “Our aspiration is to impart the essence of our globally acclaimed recipes to Kiwis through dedicated teams and delectable cuisine. We eagerly anticipate the reception on opening day.”

With a presence in over 4,300 outlets worldwide, including the UK, US, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Indonesia, and South Korea, Popeyes is renowned for its Louisiana-style menu, featuring an array of chicken offerings, such as burgers, tenders, wings, accompanied by sides like mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits.
