STUFF: DAVID WHITE/STUFF A company owned by ANZ NZ purchased this $7.5m St Heliers home for former chief executive David Hisco.
ANZ will voluntarily hand over information on the related party deal in which it sold an Auckland mansion to chief executive David Hisco’s wife.
The Financial Markets Authority announced it would probe the deal after Stuff revealed the existence of the mansion on Auckland’s upmarket suburb of St Heliers.
Hisco’s wife Deborah Walsh paid $6.9 million for the lavish St Heliers property in July 2017, less than the $7.55m ANZ paid when it bought the house in early 2011, but the deal was not disclosed in the bank’s annual report.
