A new apartment block proposed for New Zealand’s largest high density housing development is aiming to become a new landmark for the area.

Resource consent submissions for an apartment building up to fifteen storeys high in the Marlborough precinct at Hobsonville Point, opened yesterday.

The building, which is part of four development areas in the precinct, has a maximum height of 68.77 metres above mean sea level.

The original height limitation for the area on which the apartment building would sit is 16.5 metres.
