Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and partner Clarke Gayford have bought a new home in Sandringham, Auckland in preparation for the birth of their first child, due in mid-June.

Bayleys advertising for the property said it was a 1920s four-bedroom bungalow with a modern extension and two bathrooms, on a 643-square-metre section.
