PHOTO: LOWE & CO – These two Wellington townhouses on The Terrace were completed during 1993 but don’t have code of compliance certificates. The properties, which have decaying structural framing and subfloors, have been sold at auction with the two owners accepting $239,500 each.
The two Wellington families that joined forces to sell their townhouses “as is, where is” have sold both properties at auction.
Listing agent Amy Allen of Lowe & Co said the properties, neither of which had a code of compliance certificate, were sold together as a single entity, as both townhouses would need to be worked on simultaneously.
Allen said the houses were sold under the hammer for $479,000 after “fast and furious” bidding.
