CRAIG: We designed and built the small block that includes our apartment, and moved in 18 months ago.
Vinegar Lane is a unique concept where sections are sold with a set of design rules to construct commercial and/or residential units. You design and develop your own building from 3-5 levels high.
The rules were set to maintain quality while obtaining density in this central location. Most sites are already developed, with three currently under construction. Escalating construction prices and tight development finance have stalled a number of developments that already have building consent.
