Ramon Te Wake is an actress, singer-songwriter, and model living in an apartment on Auckland’s Karangahape Rd.

Rūrangi is a reflection of contemporary society in Aotearoa through a trans lens. Ten of the 24-strong cast identify as gender-diverse and all transgender characters are played by trans actors.
I started mentally placing furniture as soon as I saw it. My flatmate Kelly also works in film as a makeup artist and I saw the room on the right as her makeup room. We’ve been in love with it ever since.
