Prime News presenter Janika ter Ellen lives in a “charming” ex-state house in Te Atatu South, Auckland with her husband, Newshub rugby reporter Ross Karl.

She loves the area, but even more so the community. Janika was welcomed to the neighbourhood with a delivery of homemade roti, curries and a fresh tomato chilli chutney.

“We have a gorgeous community who love to share garden supplies, produce, and a beer,” she said.
