A sprawling estate in Melbourne’s Sandringham owned by actor Lisa McCune sold under the hammer for $5.25 million on Saturday.
The property at 54-56 Bamfield Street, Sandringham consists of a main five-bedroom house with a separate two-bedroom cottage at the rear.
Known as “Buxton”, the property was built around 1913 and sits on a large 1321-square-metre site.
Owned by McCune with former husband Tim Disney as tenants in common, according to public records, it was on the market for the first time in more than a decade.
It is understood that the former Blue Heelers star plans to relocate to a nearby home in Sandringham.
It was one of 450 auctions scheduled in Melbourne on Saturday.
