In an interview with Vogue Australia, Hung shared her desire for a timeless wedding dress, saying she wanted something she would still love in 50 years. Reflecting on the ceremony’s significance, she noted that the location, the northern beaches where they spent much of their time growing up as individuals and as a couple, held sentimental value for their relationship.

Hung also disclosed the details of Lowry’s surprise proposal at Crown in December 2021. He orchestrated a clever ruse, arranging a fake work engagement to bring her to the venue for the special moment. She recounted the surprise, saying, ‘I rocked up to The Crown ready for work, and the PR team escorted me to a room. When I opened the door, Nick was standing at the end of a rose-petal-covered aisle.’

Before their engagement, the couple had been in a relationship for five years.
