Former rugby league star Jarryd Hayne has listed his Darlinghurst investment property with a $2.35 million asking price.

The property is the priciest investment in his once imposing portfolio that totalled $4.8 million on 2013 peak exposure.

The two-time Dally M Medal winner paid $1,585,000 for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom property six years ago.

It has always been a rental property, but with a high turnover of tenants.

It was recently marketed as again available for rent.

Hayne, who is spending the next six months in Perth completing an evangelical mission, was seeking $1100 a week last month.

Last year, and in May this year, he sought tenants at $1350 a week.

It was leased during his ill-fated NFL code-change during 2015 when he called San Francisco home, and when he went to play for the Gold Coast Titans.
