Michael Jackson’s youngest son, or “Blanket”, as he was known as a child, is all grown up and has made his first real estate purchase.

Prince Michael Jackson II, now more commonly known as “Bigi”, has shelled out more than $3.9 million ($US2.6 million) for a starter house in Calabasas, California, according to Dirt.

It’s hardly a surprise that the 18-year-old can afford a house of this magnitude – the Michael Jackson estate has hauled in a massive $1.7 billion in revenue over the past decade.

Bigi, then known to the world as Blanket, was infamously dangled over a Berlin balcony by his father in 2002, at the age of only nine months old. He was seven years old when his father died in 2009.

He grew up with his grandmother Katherine Jackson in the Calabasas area of LA and his new digs, a six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom house with three car spaces and three fireplaces, would place him within a stone’s throw of Dr Dre, John Travolta and lead O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, who lives next door.
