A NSW family who issued a desperate appeal for information to help find a woman missing from Sydney’s northern beaches says she has now been in contact with her father.

Leesa Forrest, 28, was last seen on February 1 when she went to work in Narrabeen and loved ones have not heard from the real estate agent since.

Police said the alarm was raised after Forrest was last contacted about 12.30pm last Wednesday February 1, and no one spoke to her or saw her afterwards.

“Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character,” police said on Wednesday.

However, on Friday, The Daily Telegraph reported that Forrest had been in touch.

“Leesa has made contact with my father,” Forrest said on Facebook

“She’s safe on Mid North Coast. Happy she is safe, alive and can’t wait to give her a big cuddle.”
