Sarah Ivanković and Arijana Podgajski are successful young women who, after winning the title of Miss Universe Croatia, have continued their careers in the real estate business at one of the most renowned Croatian agencies, Eurovilla.
Sarah Ivanković has been known to the Croatian public since 2008 when she made it to the Top 15 at the Miss Universe global competition. She holds a master’s degree in economics with a postgraduate study in the preparation and implementation of EU projects.

With continuous supervision of the implementation of legal regulations and collaboration with institutions responsible for the preparation and implementation of EU projects, she is aware of the level of responsibility and trust required as crucial assets for client satisfaction.
She tells us that she has always known that she wanted to work in this industry because it combines everything she desired. “Being a real estate agent in the largest real estate agency in Croatia is not a job we forget when we come home; it is a part of us. It’s a lifestyle,” says Sarah.
Arijana recently passed on her Miss Universe Croatia crown to her successor and fully dedicated herself to her passion for working as an agent at Eurovilla.
In her free time, this promising student actively studies the real estate market and keeps up with contemporary trends, combining them with her previous experience. She enjoys working as a real estate agent because of its dynamism.
“You don’t sit in the office; you rush from one field to another. Additionally, each property and client have their own story. There is no monotony because no two days are the same, and we never know whom we will meet. In this job, I have realised that an agent is not just a mediator but also needs to be a good psychologist to understand what someone truly wants and to comprehend people and guide them because the process of buying or selling a property is a significant event that we go through together with our clients,” says Arijana.
What is their biggest challenge? “I have come to see that sometimes clients themselves are not sure what they truly want, so by thoroughly listening to their needs, lifestyle, and way of thinking, I have found something completely opposite to what they described, and in the end, it turned out to be a perfect match,” says Sarah.
There is an exceptionally high demand for new buildings in the Zagreb area, as well as for smaller-sized apartments, but these two beauties often travel as well. “Traveling is the most enjoyable part of this job. I enjoy traveling, and a short getaway outside Zagreb is a real vacation for me. That’s how I merge business and personal life,” happily adds Arijana.
And how much do their beauty and charm help them in their work?
“Negotiation skills, a sense of security, and knowledge are the primary factors, which is why education is part of our daily routine. Being part of the Eurovilla team, or working in the most successful agency, is the key that opens almost all doors,” says Sarah. Arijana agrees, and she continues to educate herself because she believes that knowing the subject matter and presentation, along with following global trends, are crucial when going to a meeting with a client. Beauty and charm, they emphasise, help in all businesses, including theirs, but they are not decisive and have no connection with the speed of buying and selling.
