Police have charged Michael Whittaker of stealing a competitor’s “for sale” signs and intimidating agents in Bathurst.

The principal of Bathurst Real Estate pleaded not guilty to the eight charges police laid against him at the Bathurst Local Court.

The charges included four counts of stalking and intimidating, fear physical harm (personal) and four counts of larceny.

Police alleged he intimidated Jay Cleary, who is the principal of Cleary Fairbrother Property, in March last year. And then he intimidated Mr Clearly and Sandy Fairbrother, also principal at Cleary Fairbrother Property, on a second occasion.
