Rugby league’s Sam Burgess is understood to be looking for a bachelor pad in Coogee following his split from wife Phoebe. Emerald City has been told Burgess has sought the expertise of former NRL player turned NG Farah Coogee estate agent Beau Champion who has helped the couple in the past with property sales and purchases.
The Burgesses paid $2,065,000 for an off the plan apartment at the Pacific in Bondi Beach in 2012, and then sold it for $3 million earlier this year in a sale orchestrated by Champion. The pair currently own a $3.8 million property in Maroubra where Phoebe has been staying with her kids Poppy and newborn, Billy and mum, Sarah, while Sam is said to be living elsewhere.
