Modern Family actor Sofia Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello have purchased a $40 million ($US26 million) Los Angeles palace.
The married couple’s massive Beverly Park 1,580 sqm mansion comes equipped with six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Their new pad sits in an affluent gated community in the mountains above Beverly Hills.

The home was originally home to baseball’s all-time home-run king Barry Bonds.
In 2002, at the height of his on-field powers, he swung for the fences when he bought the stunning villa for $US 8.7 million.
Over a decade later, he wanted to cash in, quietly shopping the property, eventually selling for a whopping $22 million in early 2014.
