A Sydney house worth $4.8 million has come up for grabs through a landmark giveaway and could change hands for as little as $5.
The Freshwater house with sweeping ocean views and a prized location near the beach will be the priciest Sydney house ever put up for raffle by fundraising group RSL Art Union.
The union has given away numerous properties across the country through regular home lotteries but has introduced a novel scheme with the Freshwater giveaway.
The veterans support group has paired with interior design specialist Neale Whitaker, one of the judges on TV’s The Block, to style the home.

The luxury house includes furnishings and artwork Mr Whitaker sourced from luxury suppliers. High-end appliances are also included. Tickets, which start at $5, will be released in August.
