A new report from KPMG Australia found Aussies continued flocking to “greenfield” suburbs, with the fastest-growing areas being suburbs where free-standing houses were more common.

Nearly a quarter of the 1 million new residents settled in one of the top 10 fastest-growing areas, KPMG demographics expert Terry Rawnsley said.
