PROPERTY investor Vaughan Blank is the man who paid more than $33 million — the highest price achieved at auction for a residential property in Australia — for a block of Art Deco flats in Edgecliff last week.

Mr Blank — well known as a collector of property across the eastern suburbs — bought the 11 units at 22 Albert St, Edgecliff amid rapid-fire bidding and a packed auction room in Double Bay last Thursday.
