According to realestate.com.au QUEENSLAND rugby star Jordan Petaia has paid $1.78m for a post-war pad just down the road from where he went to school.

Born and raised in Brisbane, the 22-year-old went to Brisbane State High School in South Brisbane, so it seems fitting he should buy a home in the same catchment area.

This property in Loch St, West End, has sold to Queensland Reds player Jordan Petaia.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom house in Loch Street, is in a quiet enclave of West End and offers plenty of character features.

He recently resigned with Rugby Australia through to the end of 2024, which puts him in a strong position to make the national squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

Records show Petaia also owns a house in Fairfield, which he bought for $790,000 in 2020.
