SYDNEY house prices might be predicted to drop this year, but that isn\u2019t stopping first home buyers like Amy and Daniel Meyer who are desperate to get a foot on the property ladder.<\/p>\n

\n

The Sydney couple plans to buying a two-bedroom apartment in the inner city as soon as possible, despite NAB anticipating a 1.8 per cent drop in Sydney unit prices.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d always hoped to be able to buy our own place. It\u2019s a longstanding goal of mine,\u201d Ms Meyer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFinancially it\u2019s been a lot harder than I had ever anticipated, and we\u2019re only in a position to buy a unit now thanks to a lot of help from our families.<\/p>\n
