The Grand Manhattan embraces the latest in New York living.<\/p>\n

The 39-story development will house apartments, a hotel, restaurants and some of the most expensive real estate in the country. But instead of Central Park views, it\u2019s located in Ho Chi Minh City\u2019s District 1, better known as Saigon\u2019s Wall Street.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the latest brainchild of Bui Thanh Nhon, a former seller of veterinary medicine who\u2019s built his Novaland Group into one of Vietnam\u2019s largest property companies. The chairman\u2019s majority ownership means he\u2019s amassed a fortune of around $800 million, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.<\/p>\n
