Not only has the Gold Coast\u2019s most recent light rail extension finished ahead of schedule, it\u2019s also largely regarded as a success.<\/p>\n<p>The G-Link as it\u2019s known originally opened in 2014, with the Helensvale extension in operation by the end of 2017 and further expansion planned.<\/p>\n<p>A project update released this February detailed eight new stations in the stage 3A extension to Burleigh Heads \u2013 at\u00a0Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Beach South, Nobby Beach, Miami North, Miami, Christine Avenue Station, Second Avenue Burleigh and Burleigh Heads itself.<\/p>\n<p>And while the Gold Coast market had a subdued end to 2018 before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.domain.com.au\/news\/investors-rush-to-gold-coast-property-market-ahead-of-federal-election-803868\/\">experiencing a surge prior to the federal election<\/a>, experts agreed that the G-Link\u2019s effect could be seen in the property values along its route.<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE VIA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.domain.com.au\/news\/all-stations-go-the-g-links-effect-on-gold-coast-prices-845459\/\">DOMAIN<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
