Picture: Getty <em><em>Source: Getty Images<\/em><\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>First timers looking for a home to call their own are rushing to take advantage of government incentives but not in the way Scott Morrison might have expected.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Singles are stepping up to cash in on the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme, however city slicker first-time buyers still have the biggest hurdle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Government this week released data showing who has already signed up to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhfic.gov.au\/what-we-do\/fhlds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FHLDS<\/a>&nbsp;since it launched on January 1.
