In the\u00a0final issue of our magazine for 2020<\/a>, we asked some of our industry leaders how they found the past year, and what they\u2019re looking forward to in 2021.<\/p>\n

2020 in one word?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Unique.<\/p>\n

Give us some highlights?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We doubled down on internal communications with our team to ensure they knew that we were all going through these uncertain times together.<\/p>\n

We aired a daily video webinar for the duration of COVID-19, which worked well.<\/p>\n

We had to work very hard to ensure that no one felt they were going through this on their own.<\/p>\n

We also maintained focus on what we call the \u2018Inner Market\u2019 \u2013 being the things that we can control as opposed to the things we can\u2019t control.<\/p>\n

What will you leave in 2020?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hopefully COVID-19. Other than that, I think our corporate mindset was in good shape, so there\u2019s very little we would want to disregard and leave behind.<\/p>\n

I think the lessons we learnt and the strength we developed will be a huge asset in 2021 and beyond.<\/p>\n
