keeps coming in spades for Australian banks to start December.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/propertynoise.co.nz\/au\/corelogic-november-home-value-index-dwelling-values-rise-across-every-capital-city-and-rest-of-state-region\/\">real estate market<\/a>, which the sector\u2019s fortunes correlate with, has forgotten all about\u00a0COVID-19\u00a0and is now absolutely buoyant.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, 24 out of 28 finance experts forecast that house prices would exceed 2019 levels in the coming year, according to a survey by comparison site\u00a0<i>Finder<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>LJ Hooker head of research Mathew Tiller said <a href=\"https:\/\/propertynoise.co.nz\/au\/cash-rate-not-expected-to-lift-for-three-years\/\">historic-low interest rates<\/a> are sending the market into a frenzy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the main beneficiaries of the ongoing record low rates has been property markets, with LJ Hooker agents reporting a significant increase in enquiries and strong levels of sales transaction volumes.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>A resurgent economy will push banks higher<\/h2>\n<p>This, combined with\u00a0a resurgent Australian economy, is set to fire a rocket under bank shares, according to Ausbil executive chair Paul Xiradis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the economy builds strength, and companies complete their repositioning for a changed world and earnings growth returns, we believe one of the best risk-adjusted opportunities for leverage to a resurging economy is in the banks,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBanks are still trading well below their long-term multiples, have experienced less
