However, he\u00a0was never prosecuted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">The Pandora Papers also outline the purchase of swaths of agricultural land in northern Tasmania by two Australian companies, with money originally from a Canadian businessman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">Luxury apartments in Sydney were purchased by a company registered in Samoa, which is owned by a trust linked to Sri Lankan entrepreneur Thirukumar Nadesan. He is facing charges of misappropriating state funds, which he denies.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"_2XhY1 _2X-83 g1U-R _3V6uS\" role=\"group\" data-print=\"inline-media\" aria-labelledby=\"100516166\"
