The brief for this chic Brighton haven was simple: \u201csomething to be proud of\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Expertly curated by Ironside Construction founder Luke Skurrie and wife Alex for themselves and their four children, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom house with a pool was completed in 2020 after a 14-month build.<\/p>\n

The Skurries are now selling the three-level family \u201coasis\u201d at\u00a015 Tennyson St\u00a0with a $7.5m-$8.2m price guide.<\/p>\n

The top storey is wrapped in motorised, remote-controlled white shutters, while the ground floor is wrapped in glass. This striking and practical design, teamed with the property\u2019s north-facing orientation, ensures it is flooded with sunlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea was to create something really high-end; something really light and fresh,\u201d Ms Skurrie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to have privacy because we\u2019re on the corner block. But at the same time, we wanted something really bespoke and innovative, something you don\u2019t always see.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to basically never put the lights on and that\u2019s what we\u2019ve achieved.\u201d<\/p>\n

De Natris Architecture and interior designer Brahman Perera teamed up to design the bayside pad, which is flanked by gardens by Myles Baldwin.<\/p>\n

An underground garage with space for four cars, a gym, a mud room and a wine cellar are in the basement.<\/p>\n

A spacious open-plan living and dining space on the ground floor features a marble-drenched kitchen with Miele appliances and a butler\u2019s pantry, and opens out to the garden and self-cleaning heated pool.<\/p>\n

A \u201cparents\u2019 den\u201d, a sitting room and a home office complete the floor.<\/p>\n

Upstairs, a large main bedroom with an ensuite and three additional bedrooms, also with their own bathrooms, await.<\/p>\n

Ms Skurrie said every detail, from the Signorino stone used on the floors, in the kitchen and main ensuite, to the brass accents, had been hand picked to give the home an essence of luxury.<\/p>\n
