Even in a locale that’s widely regarded as one of, if not the most expensive suburb in the whole country, surrounded by other jaw-dropping residences, this recently listed mansion in Point Piper really does take your breath away.

Located at the pointy end of the easterly harbourside neighbourhood, 8 Wolseley Crescent is an awe-inspiring, absolute deepwater home that actually sits at the northernmost tip of Point Piper.

Built ten years ago, the home itself has been crafted to a standard indicative of its revered and tightly held location.

Opulence imbues every fitting, fixture and feature, whether it be the Miele and CaesarStone kitchen with walk-in pantry, 16-metre harbour-edge heated infinity pool, heated marble flooring, or the exquisite detail lavished on every one of the four bedrooms.

And, if you ever get tired of the postcard-perfect views (impossible), on the mansion’s lower level, there’s a state-of-the-art home theatre created with the help of audio-visual doyens, Len Wallis Audio.

Unsurprisingly, although it’s only been on the market for a few short weeks, selling agent Michael Pallier of Sotheby’s International Realty said the stunning home had already attracted offers close to the “around $30 million” price range.

“We’ve had offers in the high 20s, which is close to what the owner’s looking for,” Mr Pallier said.

“It’s a prized location, and being the northernmost point of Point Piper, it’s the most desirable spot in the best location in Australia.”
