While many Aussies struggle to buy their first home, one 30-year-old who grew up in housing commission shows anything is possible \u2014 his property portfolio is now worth $20 million.<\/p>\n

“I grew up in Western Sydney in the suburb of Mt Druitt and grew up with a single mum on a pension,” Eddie Dilleen told\u00a0A Current Affair.<\/em><\/p>\n

“I worked at McDonald’s \u2014 KFC as well \u2014 so many places just trying to get ahead. Got my first job at 14.”<\/p>\n
