our house without any idea that was going to happen,&#8221; Mr Sticklen said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;We can get 10 flights every 15 minutes during peak hour and that goes on for three hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;That&#8217;s almost continuous noise and when they&#8217;re gone, it&#8217;s only then you realise how much stress it was putting on you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div health.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;The amenity of our family home has just been destroyed,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t enjoy coming home \u2026 I wake up at 6:00am, there&#8217;s 20 airplanes in quick succession taking off over Brisbane.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"_3qLh5 _sBMB _3fob9\" data-component=\"Pullquote\">\n<blockquote class=\"_1BTTn\">\n<p Moorooka,\u00a0said the return of international travel had\u00a0led to a significant increase in air traffic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;Basically, every arrival that comes into Brisbane when there&#8217;s north-easterly winds, flies over our house on either of those paths,&#8221; Ms Van Oosten said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;Whether the flights are coming from Los Angeles, Europe or domestic flights, we get every single plane, which can be relentless.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"_3qLh5 _sBMB _3fob9\" data-component=\"Pullquote\">\n<blockquote class=\"_1BTTn\">\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\"><strong>&#8220;It can be all day, every day, for days on end \u2026 we&#8217;ve basically got a freeway above our house.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">&#8220;It affects my concentration, I don&#8217;t spend as much time in the garden or outside as I used to, I&#8217;m disconnected from my kids and my husband \u2026 it&#8217;s really
