Are you buying or selling? Have you been affected by\u00a0underquoting?<\/strong>\u00a0It’s a well-documented issue in the industry in which agents intentionally give a lower price for a property than what it’s estimated to sell for in order to artificially drive up competition.<\/p>\n

The ACCC warns of other unethical practices too, such as agents making\u00a0false claims<\/strong>\u00a0about offers on a property and\u00a0“dummy bidding”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Australia has a housing affordability problem, we are in the grip of a rental crisis, interest rates are rising and costs of living are soaring.<\/p>\n
