According to publicly available property records, Crichton has just bought a new home in Tregear, which sits a few suburbs across from Penrith proper, 36 km west of Sydney’s CBD.

CoreLogic reports the 5-bedroom home, which sits on a generous 620 sqm in a “whisper quiet, much sought-after” street in the small suburb close to amenities and transport, was sold on December 5 for $848,500.

According to respected Rugby League writer Phil Rothfield, who first reported the sale of the house to the Panthers’ outside back, Crichton bought the home for his parents and family.

Crichton is expected to join the Bulldogs on a deal worth around $800,000 a year. Given the money the 22-year-old demands as one of the NRL’s best players, Rothfield said the Tregear home is likely to be the first of many homes in a sizeable real estate portfolio.
