A Canadian expatriate has issued a cautionary message regarding the challenges of relocating to Australia amidst a cost of living crisis. Kirsty Feely, who made the move Down Under earlier this year, highlighted the dire state of the housing and job markets.<\/p>\n

While Kirsty described her international move as one of the most enriching experiences of her life, she also acknowledged it as one of the most demanding. She advised fellow expats to embrace a frugal backpacker lifestyle initially to establish themselves and cautioned about the mandatory farm work requirements on certain visas.<\/p>\n

In a TikTok video, Kirsty shared some candid insights about the Australian relocation experience: “I want to share some truths about moving to Australia. Yes, it’s incredibly amazing, and the videos showcasing its beauty are accurate. However, there are also some significant challenges.”<\/p>\n
