{"id":7822,"date":"2017-04-27T05:55:50","date_gmt":"2017-04-26T17:55:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/propertynoise.co.nz\/au\/?p=7822"},"modified":"2024-03-01T21:01:24","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T08:01:24","slug":"real-estate-brand-reports-record-growth-across-australia-nz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/propertynoise.co.nz\/au\/real-estate-brand-reports-record-growth-across-australia-nz\/","title":{"rendered":"Real Estate Brand Reports Record Growth Across Australia and NZ"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>STATEMENT:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After many years flying under the radar, One Agency, which started at zero in 2008, has emerged as the fastest growing real estate brand in both Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>Having opened 57 new businesses in 2016, the brand signed up twenty one new licenses in the first quarter this year, an all-time record, and March was the brand\u2019s best-ever month. \u201cThe second quarter is already looking to be at least as productive,\u201d commented founder and CEO, Paul Davies. \u201cWe\u2019re an overnight success after 10 years!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>One Agency was recently acknowledged in the BRW Fast 100 Awards as the 82 nd fastest growing business across the entire Australian economy and additionally, when ranked on the number of businesses, the brand is now Australia\u2019s 8 th largest real estate group with over 150 businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s remarkable, given that some of our competition have been around for decades, and some over a hundred years,\u201d says Mr. Davies. \u201cWe don\u2019t take out full page adverts or advertise on national TV or radio, we just quietly get on with our job of offering agents and office-owners a better deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone wants to \u2018make more and keep more\u2019 and with One Agency\u2019s model that\u2019s attainable, so agents are flocking to the opportunity,\u201d added Mr Davies.<\/p>\n<p>He said the growth has been mainly by word of mouth, with a constant stream of enquiry landing on the company\u2019s doorstep.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t hunt out prospective members and we don\u2019t offer financial incentives to join, which we know others do, we\u2019re just a bloody good deal, open, transparent, straightforward and effective,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Membership for Australasia, John Stewart commented, \u201cAgents and office owners are just knocking down our door to join. We\u2019re unable to place newcomers in many parts of Australia, and after only 18 months in NZ, the same is often true; many markets are full.\u201d Each member has an allocated area or group of suburbs, where only one Licence can be issued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dTypically the people the brand attracts fall into three categories,\u201d says Stewart \u201cFirstly, the agent who is currently employed and wants to stop sharing fees.
