• Auckland Council is preparing to sell off more pocket parks on Auckland’s North Shore, despite its last attempted sale on the Shore being rejected by its own Governing Body.

Two small pockets of land in Auckland’s North Shore: 24R Tarahanga Street, Northcote, and 4 Blomfield Spa, Takapuna, are being considered for disposal by Auckland Council land management organisation Panuku Development.

Devonport-Takapuna Local Board member Grant Gillon uncovered plans to sell off these parcels of land via an Official Information Act request.
