Barfoot & Thompson has released its latest market data, which shows there were 804 sales by its agents last month.
Managing director Peter Thompson described that number as “exceptional”, and said it was the highest number for a February month in five years.
ASB economists said the sales-to-listings ratio in Auckland had been rising since May. “[It] now suggests the market is in outright ‘tight’ territory.”
